Beautifullysoft boiled wool fabric in a lovely smart, dark grey colour, perfect for Autumn and Winter dressmaking. Boiled wool has all the great properties of normal wool fabricand is naturally water resistant, warm and long-lasting.

When the wool is boiled, the woven woolshrinks and the resulting fabric becomes denser and moretightly woven, making it softer and even warmer than regular wool. It is also water resistant, so perfect for outerwear including coats and jackets.

Boiled wool doesn’t need pre-washing and is easy to sew. This grey boiled wool would make agorgeous coat or jacket.
