In celebration of Sir Grayson Perrys 65th birthday, Londons Wallace Collection has curated Delusions of Grandeur, an exhibition on Perrys life and work. The exhibitions central muse, Shirley Smith a character invented by Perry – has inspired his original design for Libertys 150th anniversary collection. Conceived by Perry as an outsider artist, Smiths obsession with the Wallace Collection forms the basis for this eclectic design, where one can spot a crude version of Hertford house as well as various cats which are another noted passion of hers.
